Applications

The TREVON fibers provide solutions for many sanitary products, components and disposablse like:

• baby diapers and wipes
• hygiene cloths, hospital underblankets
• disposable hand towels and other items
• surgical face masks, dressings and caps
• medical fabrics - parts of bandages and plasters
• feminine care products (sanitary towels, tampons...)...
• adult incontinence materials

* letter V stands for tenacity above 40 cN/tex and W for tenacity over 45 cN/tex (see Figure )

Finishes and properties

To the utilization of the TREVON fibers in the above mentioned areas (where the final products are in direct contact with people´s skin and have to be breathable and soft) contribute first and foremost following :

• very soft touch
• optional hydrophobic or hydrophilic (liquid barrier or transport) properties
• very low weight
• excellent processability in different processes - thermobonding, wetlaid, stitchbonded...
• toxicological and hygienic harmlessness
• skin non-irritativeness
